So next week is my last full week of school :(
But my weekends are all booked up so maybe it wont be so bad...
Tommorrow I might go swimming with my host brother, then take the train to the city and go take purikure (picture booth pics) OH THEN TO A CONCERT!
I cant wait its with my host sis and keiko chan! Maybe my the band i like from my school will be there. If so Kago-i:D
Then sunday Im going to Morioka with my host fam and were going shopping! Its a real city there with mall! YAY
Then hopefully during the weekday I can go eat ramen with some 3rd years (seniors) cause i cant go this weekend cause this last weekend is to spend with my host fam.
Saturday Im suppose to go to a festival again then BBQ
Sunday is Fireworks at night. I want to wear a kimono!
Monday is YFU last orientation
Then my last days of school
then i leave for tokyo
Then fly back HOME!

School Festival

Photos later im too lazy and soooo tired.
So this week i had a 5 day school week. I had to go to school saturday and sunday... but it was okay because we were just preparing our school festival. I had hella fun preparing I got to talk to all these other kids i haven`t before. I finally went to a senior class on wednesday and their hella funny. I guess I would be a senior in Japan cause their school year starts in April and their summer vacation starts july 25? and engs august which sucks.
Anywho back on topic, today was my school festival and we all got dressed and I was the cowgirl I guess cause im american and we changed from a dance to a skit cause were lazy and a skit would be easier. We did terrible haha but it was fun. Then i went to listen to my host sis`s singing contest they messed up her song and played something else so she had to wing it, i feel bad for her. I was really amazed at some of the people who sang I didn`t realize they could sing like that! Then I went to an english speech competition and i had to be the judge along with a Teach from New Zealand and Jamie from Austrailia, he`s such an American hater he disses on american everyyydayyy. He`s just jealous haha. I wasn`t able to eat today but its cool because after that i went to the gym and bands were playing. Bands as in kids from my school! And even teachers were rocking ot one of my senseis were on the drums and the other singing!!! They were hella rocking out sensei`s in Japan have lives haha cool ones. Then the students started to play and it was sooooo tight. They were all really good. I have to admit all the guys who played guitar were pretty hot. I got a picture with one of the seniors who sang for my favorite band that played. I knew two of the seniors playing the guitar and i was pretty amazed!! Pictures later i took pics of them playing. My schools stage was tight too it was all dark and spot lights were shinning on them!! Then i forgot what happened the rest of the day but I had fun :) I just remembered saying a lot of hello`s and good byes ><
It was sooooooo hot today. I was so sweaty!
My host sis was down today cause of her singing comp i feel bad cause i didn`t realize she was so down about it until we got home...

Sports fastival

For those of you who have seen a japanese high school drama or show like nobuta wo produce youll know that theyll have classroom festivals where you decorate the classroom and do a dance or whatever. Our theme is disney lol soooo gay not ganna lie haha but thats okay but our so kina gay haha its this band that irritates me but i guess the songs okay. But the band deffinataly kills me inside. Why japanese kids like it IDK. Hazuki doesnt like it like me. good things someone agrees with me.

Odate Gakko (school) (fixed errors)

Well...Where should i start? They put me in a sophomore class which is fine cause their all awesome and soooooo cute. I teach middle schoolskids english or atleast help read lol and I go to regular class with students that are sophomores. I wear a uniform..yes. There okay lol. On the firs day everyclass and everwhere i went i got `KAWAIIIIIIIIII!!!` Honestly i felt like a celebrity. I think its not cause i am cute its cause their amazed that there is a gaijin (forigner) in their school.
My first day i got about a million praises but i was pretty quiet and thought i couldnt make friends.
Second day was less praises but i got to make friends and everything. I had fun talking to everyone and talking during class and being a rebel lol.
3rd day
I had to teach junior high kids english cause exams for　high schoolers demo(but) the 8th graders were cute. One guy asks `can you cook` i replied yes i love to he goes can you cook for me? haha so funny and then later he asks Why am i so cute, what a cute little boy. This other boy who goes `do you like me` , what a cute little boy. This other boy who goes `do you like me` LOL their sooo sweet its amazing
People thought i was half american half chinese but i dont think i look like it? i think they assumed cause im from america lol. So i met Yamapi and JaeJoon (not really、in case you didn`t know their famous asian people) They asked what famous japanese guy i liked hahaha i said Yamapi was my favorite and he`s ikemen (cute guy) and he goes `Oh Im Yamapi!` I laughed sooo hard, now i call him Yamapi his real names Genta-kun? Same thing about I said i like jaejoong and this kid goes oh Im Jaejoong haha. I found a japanese girl who loves korean bands like me haha YEAH!!!
People are so nice here everyone is so cute and funny. I LOVE IT =)
Theres one guy that looks like he`s in a rock band. But he`s in 2C which means he doesnt want to go to college because A and B classes want to go to college any others like C D to go to college any others like C D & E don:t and he`s my age (junior). I`m in 1B with lovely sophomores xD There taking exams right now so i have to teach english with an australian exchange student named Jamie, he thinks hes helllla tight haha anywho bye now.

Hi guys Im in Akita right now. My family is the cutest and sweetest family ever. I went to watch kabuki today and that was interesting(japanese theatre). School starts tomarrow for me and Im scared. Hopefully that works out. My Okasan makes realllly oshi good ;) So yummmyyyyy
i tried there bidet today the spray toilet thing and its pretty exetreme :|

Hey Guys so I'm in Tokyo right now for the last day before i take a plane to Akita ><
Tokyo was a lot different from what I thought, but its awesome. Sugoi!
The only thing is that we didn't get a chance to hit up harajuku or shibuya hopefully on the way back from Akita I can. Karaoke tonight ^___^
I'm staying in a five star hotel in tokyo? It was pretty awesome met some senate full of white people today super boring almost fell asleep haha

Change of Host Family

So yesterday i sent pictures to my coordinator in Japan. Then today i got a phone call saying my host family canceled last minute -___- How disappointing. Is it because I wasn't what they were expecting? Oh well, so my new host families in Kazuno, Akita.
I have little info on them but here's what I have:

I looked up Kazuno, Akita, looks like I'll be in a rural area. Oh well nothing can be done. I'm a little bummed though not because I dont like my new host family its just the sudden change.

Its not that i want to get out of here because i don't like it here or anything its just i feel like i want a getaway...ever get one of those where you just want to escape to a place where no one knows you and you know no one? We'll I'm going to get that! I'm really excited even though there are many things that could go wrong i dont care! I cant wait...I haven't met new people in sooooo lonnngggggg. I'm craving to meet new people and to do new things I've never thought possible, know what I mean? Yupppppppppppp (:
I'm craming myself with homework right now trying to get all my stuff in. Everyday something needs to be accomplished. My parents are going to nag me until I leave and I know it. Just 6 more days. I know going to Japan will be fun but rough, getting along with my host family as well as communication. We'll see what flows along may's roaring river, whats the japanese word for fighting? Is it gam-bai-re?

Gifts for the unknown host family!

So i went shopping today with my brothers girlfriend to the mall and bought my host family their gifts! I went a few days before and got chocolates from the mall and a lotion set from victoria's secret. Then today I went to Made In Oregon and got a grip load of stuff. I got them Jams, smoked salmon and a picture of where i live :) Pretty awesome stuff. I hope they like it, its not that exciting but maybe they'll like it? On the letter YFU (youth for understanding, the organization who does exchange programs) sent to my house said i should also buy gifts for my new friends there because Japanese people like giving gifts, OH HEY I LIKE GIVING GIFTS! So i got some lip glosses from victoria's secret! I went to buy some essentials today from Fred Meyers, bleh. Afterward I went to HaeRim the Korean restaurant in Beaverton, it was delicious like always. I made a little stop to uwajimaya to buy some rice punch since we were around there but...we bought cinnamon punch instead. Which is disgustinggggg :'(
I'm really ganna miss my friends AHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Oh yeah! I'm watching japanese dramas to help me with my japanese! Hopefully that works out... Can't wait to receive my host family information!

Indroduction :)

For those of you who do not know me, my names May Wu. I got accepted for the JUSSE partial scholarship to japan's summer exchange program. I'm going to go to the Berkeley, California orientation on the 6th, then head to Tokyo on the 9th and arrive on the 10th! WOOHOO Even though i don't get out of school until the 15th :( I really don't want to miss the last most important week of school, oh well i mean who cares I'm going to japan!
